Exotic Body Works is located in the lush blueberry capital of the world, Hammonton, New Jersey, U.S.A. Most people wouldn't expect to find a tattoo studio in what's known as the "Hub of South Jersey" amidst all the farmland. Exotic Body Works, owned and operated by Artist Keith Titus, first opened in March of 1996. The studio could be thought of as "South Jersey's best kept secret" since people still come in asking if it just opened.

Keith has been tattooing for well over 7 years. His first encounter was at age 9 during a a visit with his father to tattoo artist Todd Evans who introduced Keith to stencils and flash art. Todd Evans soon relocated and Keith wouldn't see tattooing again until age 15 when he got his first tattoo by Dan Olah. At this time, Keith showed Dan his portfolio. Being impressed with Keith's art work, Dan agreed to show Keith the ropes of the industry. Even though Keith's knowledge of the art is mostly self taught, he believes that if you're interested in the business, you should apprentice at a reputable studio.

Keith began his career tattooing at a studio in his home, trading as Shock Art, then as Titus 'Tattoo's. Even at his young age, Keith recognized the importance of cleanliness and learned the proper procedures for sterilization. He then attempted working for local shops, some of which didn't always turn out to be what he expected. Keith often felt as if he were part of an assembly line - one tattoo after the other, being rushed and over charging. As a result, Keith believed he needed a change and, as a 21st birthday present to himself, he opened Exotic Body Works. The shop enabled him to broaden his horizons. He left his full time job after 4 months to devote more time to the art that he loves.

Keith specializes in all forms of tattooing, from black to grey to new school. Although he loves grey scales in the tattooing medium, he also loves color. When a customer wants color, that's exactly what they get. He's into realistic, or straight wacked out art. So, if you have odd or crazy ideas check him out. Aliens are a plus, girlee's too. He likes to blend styles, like black and grey, with big bold colorful pieces. He recently took an award for an "Elvis Pez-ley" he had done.

The shop has a very relaxing atmosphere and is very clean. Some customers even say it reminds them of a doctor's office. The relaxing sounds of electronic music fills the studio, along with blow up space creatures. His liking for aliens is more than evident, The walls are filled with flash to the likes of many. Keith's portfolios are always on display for your viewing. He is a member of the APT, and is always open to new techniques and ideas. As with everything, he feels there is always room for improvement. Right now Keith is the only Artist at the shop, so appointments are recommended, although not always necessary. Keith has added full body piercing to the studio this year with even further plans of expansion. However, since Keith is the only Tattoo Artist, appointments are recommended, but not always necessary.
